Responding to the Prime Minister’s decision to publish texts and private communications relating to COVID-19 contracts, PRCA Public Affairs Board Chair, Liam Herbert commented:

"The lobbying industry welcomes this announcement from the Prime Minister. Disclosure and transparency are vital in restoring public confidence. The public affairs and lobbying industry has always been committed to transparency and ethical public affairs so we welcome this move from the Prime Minister.

"We are also calling on Government to adopt PRCA’s Public Confidence Plan for Reform which includes six urgent recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and trust in the UK political system.”
